When I first saw this ad I thought to myself, there will be a financial part to this, and I thought right. This is an ad for a clothing, and they are advertising a sale. And do you know why I like this a lot, because not one place in this ad, does it show the word, SALE, in big bold letters. There are many different ways of saying there is a sale going on, and they have done it with a pair of scissors. How clever is that?!?! It is very clever. It is using something clothing designers use, and applying it to an advertisement. And in this day in age, simply putting a SALE in big bold letters, isn't really enough. Making the scissors into a percent symbol was just enough to let me, the consumer, know there is something going on with money at this store, and I need to go there or read on. Knowing what other design elements you can use to your disposal beyond the typefaces and filters, is an important part in this industry.

Happy SALE SHOPPING!

English

I love Writing don't get me wrong it's just sometimes I can't co-ordinate my time to focus on something I don't want to do. Essays are a pain in the butt and I don't like them for real. I'm not into this whole one test = pass or fail. And im pretty sure im going to fail it if I don't get my act together. That means I need to do the essays and just make a good impression on to myself about English. I hope I can get myself together enough to learn how to write well. I'm bot working hard enough on English and I know I should. It's my fault and I do now take full responsibility for my actions and I should do better on my essays from now on. Okay. Done & done. English is going to be easier now.

Thanks. Gabe.

Complain

I just want to complain to my blog about stuff. I am going to bed and I don't want to have it lingering in my mind any longer so at least I will have cleared my mind.

I have so much work to do for college. I am catching up to the rest of the group and that's not good. I'm behind and I know that. I hope to catch up next week so the week after that I'm set and ready to go.

I have this essay I have to do. It's really hard for me cuz writing isn't my strong suit. I mean I love to write, but if writing was anything like visual creation in the way that I make things outta my head, then I could have basically written a novel by now. I want to be able to write well, I wouldn't have made a blog if I didn't like to write. It's just not knowing how to write and how to organize things. I'm learning that now as tine goes by. I hope by the end of college I will be able to write smoothly and know grammar like I know the interworkings of a 4x5 camera. Smooth controls. Delicate angles to make things look beautiful. An amazing outcome.

I have a lot of work ahead of me. And I guess it continues tomorrow but I have to get a good night sleep to do that. Soo. Goodnight. Not very good at writing as u can see but. Oh well I'm working on it.

Gabe.

Would kill for this kind of weather.

Just a thought before I go to bed.
I'm laying in bed right now day dreaming of a place. It's warm and cozy with great views and amazing night life. Yea it's Virginia Beach. I'm not sure if this is the right temp or not but in any case, it looks really hot down there. And I want.

I went there this past summer to vacation with my god parents which was an awesome experience because it's been 10 years since I have been there. So definately this time Im able to digest Virginia in a whole new way. I was able to experience shopping, food, and especially the beach like no other way than on my own a little bit. It was important to me that I go around on my own and I did. But of course my parents were a stone throw away just in case I get lost or something. It was a beautiful vacation and I hope to go there again, on my own or with a friend, and experience it another way. Like a tourist without the schedual and planned out days. I want to just go wild on in Virginia and basically feel something new.

Your friend,

Gabe

Bagong Nayong Pilipino: Manila Bay Tourism City

When I went to the Philippines this past summer I went to a show there in Manila called Wanders. It was presented in a hotel located just a half an hour away from where I was staying in Manila. It was the best show I've ever watched, and I hope to see it again the next time I visit. But I remember when they were waiting for everyone to get in and settled down. I remember them showing this little presentation. Now they did not show that lady there talking to Efraiam C. Genuino who is the Chairman and CEO of PAGCOR. But I found this on YouTube and I just had to write about it.

Right! Was that not amazing or what?! I hope this is done really soon because I think we plan on going in the next 3 years back to Manila. And if this is all done, I'm going there. I want to experience this lovely new development. Manila for me has always been a destination I've always loved and to know it might be that for someone else makes me really happy. So I hope this is done done donzo by the time I get there. I'm not even sure if they broke ground yet but you know. I will be watching this story as closely as I can from my current home country of Canada.

Manila Bay, watch out!

PS. I'm going to feel so bad for the little vendors who are there right now, because they are going to be like over crowded LOL. But that's good for business.

I Freaking Love this Woman!

For YEARS and YEARS, even before this while recession thing happened, I've followed this woman all over TV because I just love her. She is so smart and she gives you a huuuuge wake up call. And I don't understand why more people LOVED her then like I did. Her popularity prolly went up, and her voice became that much more valuable to the ones who are down the dumpster in this recession. She, for years, has been saying "SAVE SAVE SAVE", have people done that, yes some.. but not all. And this economic climate is a hard pill to swallow. So its no surprise to her that people are in such dire need these days. She could have looked at your bank account for a split second and she would have told you if we were going through a recession that you wouldn't survive. So everyone, I give you, Suze Orman:

And as an added bonus and bio:

Enjoy!

Isn't that awesome!

Let's all get our finances together and float above this economic flood.
